Homeopathy Offers Some Benefit for Cancer Patients

In a recent report, researchers analyzed eight studies (involving a total of 664 participants) on the use of homeopathic remedies for relief of cancer-therapy-related side effects (including nausea, vomiting, mouth sores, and dermatitis). Based on the "like cures like" principle, homeopathy uses dilutions of natural substances (sourced from plants, minerals, and animals) that are chosen to match the patient's symptom pattern.

One study of 256 patients revealed that using an ointment made from calendula (also known as marigold) alleviated skin irritation resulting from radiation. Another study found that Traumeel S (a mouth rinse containing belladonna, arnica, St. John’s Wort, echinacea, and several other medicines) reduced mouth sores caused by chemotherapy. However, since homeopathic remedies failed to show any benefit over placebo in several of the other studies, the review's authors suggest that there is "no convincing evidence for the efficacy of homeopathic medicines for other adverse effects of cancer treatments."

I’m always amazed at how dismissive mainstream medicine is of homeopathic remedies. I’m sure this will give a lot of people hope.

Your advice on what to do to prepare one’s body for a total body detox was not only educational but enlightening as well. Sugar we all know is not good for one’s health, but how many of us are aware that it could interfere with or worse yet negate our efforts as we go through the detoxification of our body.
