What is Deep Tissue Massage?

Now that the weather has warmed up in most of the country, many people are heading outdoors to go running and jogging. A popular type of massage among runners is deep tissue massage. It's used to prevent pain and injury by realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Couldn’t agree more with the message here. I would add that attention to detail is critical when assessing the quality of a Massage practice. Improperly performed massages, especially those that emphasize range of motion like Thai Massage, must be trained carefully. If your outside of the states, take a look around the spa or massage shop first. If the spa is good quality Such as this Thai massage day spa in Khon Kaen, Thailand then they should have available documentation about certification and ongoing training. Happy Massage Hunting.
