Selecting a Homeopathic College
Find out what important questions you should ask when deciding on a homeopathic program.

Calduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy (California)
Program offers 216 hrs over three years. No prior health education necessary. Candidate for accreditation by the CHE. Distance or in-class learning options.

Pacific Academy of Homeopathy (California)
A three year program with 500 hours clinical training. Program requires one weekend per month. Has applied for accreditation with the CHE.

New England School of Homeopathy (Massachusetts)
This two year program is for health care professionals as well as those without prior health care education. Classes meet for three days every second month. Paul Herscu is the program director.

Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy (Minnesota)
Four year program. Classes meet for four days every month. Next new class beginning in January 2001. Has applied for accreditation with the CHE.

International Academy of Classical Homeopathy (New York)
This three year course is half video and half live lecture. This campus is the ninth campus to open worldwide. Founder George Vithoulkas, one of the most respected living homeopaths, makes an appearance one a year.

School of Homeopathy (New York)
This school is affiliated with one of the oldest schools of classical homeopathy, The School of Homeopathy in Devon, England. The New York program is four years, meeting one weekend per month. There is also a three year North American Flexible Learning program, which largely involves distance education.

Teleosis School (New York)
Two year program for health care professionals that meets ten weekends per year in New York. Total 350 program hours. Applied for accreditation with the CHE.

Bastyr University (Washington)
Bastyr offers 396 hour of homeopathy training as part of the four year full-time naturopathic medicine program. Consider this if you live in a state that licences naturopathic doctors.

Canadian Academy of Homeopathy (Canada)
Three year post-graduate course for health care professionals. Director is well-known homeopath Andre Saine. Not currently beginning a course. Accredited by the CHE.

Dr. Rajesh Shah Clinical Training Course (India)
Homeopath Dr. Rajesh Shah is offering a three week clinical training course in Bombay, India. Post-graduate programs also available in Sweden and Ireland.
