Fighting Colds with Oregano Oil

With cold season just around the corner, you may be seeking a natural remedy that can help strengthen your immune system and fight off the cold virus. Some proponents claim that oregano oil (a natural substance sold in supplement form) can help keep you cold-free. To fend off colds, make sure to get plenty of sleep, exercise on a regular basis, follow a balanced diet full of vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables, and manage your stress. There's also some evidence that taking immune-bolstering herbs like echinacea and astragalus as soon as cold symptoms set in may decrease the duration and severity of colds. In addition, eating garlic and sipping green tea may help boost your cold defense. Read the full article: Oregano Oil - What You Need to Know.
