New research shows that an extract of frankincense oil may destroy bladder cancer cells. In a recent study, scientists investigated the oil's effect on two types of human cells in culture: cancerous bladder cells and normal bladder cells. They found that the frankincense extract targeted and killed the cancer cells but failed to attack the normal cells, suggesting that "frankincense oil may represent an inexpensive alternative therapy for patients currently suffering from bladder cancer." Native to Africa, India, and the Middle East, frankincense oil contains boswellic acid (a substance known to thwart abnormal cell proliferation).
The fourth most common type of cancer among men in the United States, bladder cancer has a number of risk factors (including smoking, chemical exposure, personal or family history of cancer, and chronic bladder inflammation). Previous research indicates that people who drink the most green tea may have a reduced risk of bladder cancer.

I just wanted to let Cathy know about this website that has her article on it. Without any credit given to her. Perhaps she’s connected to it; just an FYI.
