Is Your PCOS Making It Hard for You to Get Pregnant?
Tuesday September 9, 2008
If you have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a disorder where women's hormones produce more androgens than normal, ultimately affecting fertility, and you are having difficulties getting pregnant, there may be another option for you. According to the University of Virginia study published in the article "Acupunture Clinical Trial a Boon for Local Participants Experiencing Fertility Challenges," acupuncture is shown to be effective in making ovulation regular again, therefore making pregnancies possible. Lisa Pastore, principle researcher of the study, adds, "Over the last year we have seen women who never had a regular menstrual cycle start having regular periods. We can also boast several pregnancies since the study began." Even though the study is still in its preliminary stages, this is very good news indeed for PCOS-affected women, acupuncturists and naturalists everywhere. Whereas, most ancient remedies go untested, making it difficult to determine the full effectiveness of a particular remedy, acupuncture continues to get exposure and credit for its healing and restorative qualities.

Hi! xeloda
Recently one of my friends started an obsession with the actor Nicholas Cage (mostly because their names are both Nicholas – sounds strange but he is strange and that isn’t the point). After asking around the rest of my friends he seems to be a very controversial figure.
What does the forum think? do you love the all action superhero? Or do you hate the droning voice of the man who does nothing but action shooters?
How many times you eat during a normal … every day life?
are you the type of person who eats a bit and often?
or rarely and too much?
i usually have 3 and i’m the 2nd type of person (though it’s not that healthy)
