What are Some Natural Methods to Stop Smoking?

Tuesday January 1, 2008
A reader asks, "I'm thinking about quitting smoking in the new year and have heard that acupuncture is often used to help people stop smoking. Can you tell me more about it and also about other remedies that are used to quit smoking?"

Acupuncture is one of the more popular alternative therapies to stop smoking, but there's a lack of high-quality studies showing that it can help people kick the habit.
