(1) Kelly Fraser says:

Something that one should take into consideration, before consuming an energy drink, is the ammount of additional stimulants already ingested from other sources. Forinstance, vitamin suppliments such as ginseng, other forms of sugars and caffeine, and medications such as antidepressants.I have enjoyed the mental clarity that these energy drinks provide, I have also struggled through anxiety, when my nervous system kicked in to “overload”. I am surprised that there are no warnings on these beverages. I consider myself to have a high tolerance for stimulants-yet I was very uncomfortable driving after consuming one of these drinks on an empty stomach. I will also point out to bipolar people that these drinks can sometimes provoke a manic episode, inevitably followed by depression. Be careful!
