Homemade Ginger Ale Recipe

Tuesday March 13, 2007
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is an herb native to Asia. It has been used for over 4000 years in cooking and medicinally for more than 2500 years.

As a home remedy, ginger is most popular for nausea, motion sickness and upset stomachs. Although the fresh root can be chopped and added to cooking, many people find ginger ale to be a more convenient, and tasty, way of consuming ginger. Here is a recipe for Homemade Ginger Ale.
