Find an Acupuncture College

Sunday April 2, 2006
acupun1.JPG Last week, the Boston Globe profiled a woman named Marcie who left a lucrative but unsatisfying job as a software marketing manager to find her dream career.

She decided her ideal profession had to meet certain criteria. It had to have a different definition of success besides money and status. It had to allow her to contribute to making the world a better place. It had to use her natural talents and interests, and allow her to be her own boss.

She found her dream career by accident when she visited an acupuncturist to address long-standing back pain.

According to a 1993 survey by the California Acupuncture Association, the gross annual income of an acupuncturist ranged from $30,000 a year to more than $100,000 a year. Most acupuncture programs take three years full-time, or five years part-time. Find an acupuncture college.
